The difference between Motivation and Inspiration
Motivation means- TO PROVIDE A MOTIVE
TO INDUCE
TO INCITE
TO IMPEL
Some people may call it bribery, exploitation, manipulation and control and when used incorrectly it can also be called an act of selfishness and greed.
Inspiration- it comes from the Latin word spirare, which means “spirit”, to breath, to give life, the God or nature. Many people believe that its better to get a child inspired instead of motivate them.
Some of us say that there is a subtle difference between the two and some of us believe that there is a huge difference and both words mean entirely different.
I have read a lot theories and arguments on both and every expert states/confirms that Motivation is external such as bribery, threat, gold stars etc and on the other hand Inspiration is internal.
